ABOUT THE MISSION TEAM
Our first trip was to Del Rio, Texas from March 13 to March 22, 1999. The Team had 21 people on that first trip.
We are so blessed for the years we have been able to help those who are in need in our local communities and who do not have the money or have the physical health to repair their homes so that they may remain warm, safe and dry.
The Team continues to meet the third Monday of every other month or as needed to discuss outreach projects.
The Mission Team continues to work on local projects as needed. If you are aware of someone who needs some help with home repairs or would like to be involved in local projects please speak with Lori.

UPCOMING MISSION TEAM FUNDRAISERS
14TH ANNUAL MISSION TEAM GOLF OUTING
Saturday, August 7 with an 8:00 am shotgun start.
The golf outing will be held at the Allentown Municipal Golf Course.
Fees are $90.00 per golfer, which includes greens fees, lunch, and prizes. Donations/Sponsors Needed
We are accepting donations of raffle prizes, as well as tee sponsors ($50.00/tee) and business sponsors ($25.00/business).
Foursome and sponsor forms are available in the main office or call Terry Oplinger at 610-462-5324 for more information.
Help is also needed the day of the Outing.
MISSION TEAM SHRIMP BOIL
Sunday September 19th, 4pm to 6pm.
The menu will include a salad, half pound of shrimp (a quarter pound of shrimp for children’s meals), sausage, potatoes, corn, a drink, and a desert. The cost will be $15.00 for adults and $7.00 for children.
Please contact the church office to place your reservation. You must preorder by September 12th. All proceeds will be used for work in disaster relief or recovery missions.

GOD’S WORK, OUR HANDS
Sunday, September 12th.
We will be packing Military boxes for those who serve outside of the country.
Donations are needed by September 5th: Snack bars, cheese crackers, candy (no chocolate), gum, nuts, trail mix, Raman noodles, flavoring packets for water, beef jerky, instant mac and cheese, peanut butter, toothbrushes and paste, lip balm, lotions word puzzle books, stationary and envelopes, etc.
